Hmm that should be OK for using Serato Intro.
Of course there can be a problem of other software running on your laptop.
So I suggest the following procedure:
– Update your OS (I guess you have Windows) to the latest patches you can get
– Update your Virus software to the latest version
– Quit all other applications running before you start Serato
– Attach your controller to the laptop via USB
– Switch on the controller
– Start Serato
If this does not help then I suspect you might have a faulty unit, but that should be covered by warranty and they should replace the unit.
