    It’s hard to help without actually seeing your setup. Is there a decent signal coming out of the mixer? Do you have up to date laptop sound drivers?

    I am using an Asus Core i5 Windows laptop with what I think is called the Realtek High Definition Audio soundcard?

    The sound that comes out from the speakers are ok but I am unsure about the signal that comes out from the mixer to the laptop.

    Can you swap the output/record out from the speakers vs the laptop to first see if you are getting an equivalent/decent output on both?
