    I don’t know the state in Europe but here in USA it is the responsibility of the venue to take care of music licensing, not the DJ.

    Same here in Europe, except in Italy there it is sometimes weird and you better check before the gig…
    I have been checked 2 times in the last 10 years if my music was legal, but never for licenses.
