    Furmans are good, cheap, too. I have one parked in my studio and it handles all kinds of crazy glitches you get in a typical North California household. Anyway, a < 100$ Furman is cheaper than replacing a lot of electronics due to a crazy spike. And many bars/clubs have very bad electrical systems.

    I always use them in the US, since the power lines there seem to be more likely to get busted or have wanky things going on. Furman is a good place to start and they are good bang for the buck.
    Here in Europe I only use fuse protected multi-plugs.

    Can’t say I’ve had to worry about mains conditioners for DJing. I have one for my home cinema system like you said, but for DJing have never bothered.
