The keyboard is free as my good friend is lending it to me. I am learning how to play the keyboard. I got my keys cheat sheet on it. It’s so much fun. 🙂

    So this is my setup…

First my costumized VCI-400. Put a special skin and chroma caps (THX DJTT) on it… 😉

This is my first Booth… Here I´m producing my bootlegs and practice djing:

I moved to a smaller flat… so I´ve had to split my setup into a DJ-Booth for practicing and a little production corner 😀

Thanks guay for watchin my setup… I was very impressed by yours. If you wanna know what I´m doing with it check my soundcloud page and maybe you wanna stay tuned and like me in facebook 😉

@Goomo : really efficient setup, what monitors are you using ?

First I´ve used a PA system for monitoring while I was DJing… so sound was very rubbish but “clublike”… Then I´ve bought some Behringer MS40 (which were specified as studio monitors, but user experience say: better computer monitors)… For me and my experience a hell of a difference… After moving to a flat I`ve needed two pairs. So I bought ESI near05 for producing which are even more better then the behringer…

Whats important, when it comes to practice DJing with monitor speakers, is that you hear everything BUT… the bass is very low… and in club usally the bass is pushed to his limits 😀 So I like the behringer MS40 for practicing, because they´ve got a lil EQ on the front, so you can push the bass and hear how the track will work in the club… 😀

Just upgraded from MC6000 to 2x SC2900 and X1600 in a RoadReady coffin. The case nees some work, I’ll fabricate a doghouse to accomodate cabling, USB hub, Airport Express and network switch and some external connections.

I can attach a laptop holder for playing with Traktor 2.6 on my MacBook 15″ or iPad with Denon Engine, or just play “traditionally” with just CDs or USB-sticks.

The monitor is a Numark NPM100 on a mic stand

I use only one monitor when playing live. It is hooked up to my booth output. The one in my setup pic is a Numark NPM100. Contrary to all those studio monitors out there, this one is made for the road. Sturdy ABS casing, 2 5″ full range drivers and a 100W built in amp. Won’t give you studio quality sound. But perfectly suitable for giving me the feedback I need to deliver my mixes.

I attached a yamaha adapter so I can mount it on a mic stand. The adapter is tiltable so I can aim the speaker right at my ear.

    Works like a charm.

OK. Macbook pro running Traktor into an S4 with Shure 750 Headphones. 2 Alto Ts115a’s with ADJ Jellies on top, with my brand new QSC Ksub (its soo pretty!). Also in there, an F1, and a RGB Dmx controller. I also have a Mixtrack Pro and a Maschine stored away, but theyre pretty useless about now.
