Go for it and go for it now.
You have a good setup, you know prolly many of the people and you can ask in advance what they like and plan accordingly.
Start of smooth with deep house and lounge stuff to get them in the mood and then gently see how far you can go.
Have a Plan B setlist with songs you know are “commercially successful” and people will love and possibly are “dancefloor fillers”.
Everything else is practice which is best done live. Everyone of us had a trainwreck once or twice, just never stop spinning and keep going forward. Do not let small things discourage you and get people dancing 🙂
