With those limits set, I’d add the MC2000 from Denon to the shortlist.

But i think the functions between these are almost the same… And both of them work with serato… You know a legal way to make pioneer sb or anything else to work with virtual dj….At least in a standard mode of Virtual Dj?
    Thank you

Sure you purchase Virtual DJ Pro, get to their website, see if there is a mapping and if not you need to map it yourself.
In VDJ Pro anything is possible, however if there is no mapping available be prepared for a steep learning curve on how to map things.

Just to make sure: Do you mean the old Reloop Beatmix or the brand new Reloop Beatmix 2 or 4?

    Assuming it’s the older one:
Pioneer DDJ-SB, Reloop Beatmix and Denon MC2000 are all natively supported in the new VDJ v8

In the older/more stable VDJ 7.4.1 MC2000 and Reloop Beatmix are natively supported, but you have to download a mapping file for the Pioneer DDJ-SB. You don’t have to make it yourself. The 7.4.1 build is simply older than the controller, so that’s why you have to download the mapping file seperatly

Regarding pricing you have to buy the full version ($299) to use it professionally, or you can choose to rent it for $19 a month

If you just want to legally use it with the controllers, but not professionally, you can buy a controller specific license. For the 3 controllers you suggested the price for a controller specific license i $99

We are always talking about the new Beatmix 2 and 4. The old Beatmix was not so good and lightyears behind the current incarnation.

I would go either the Beatmix or the Denon MC2000, solid stuph

Ok, I wasn’t even sure the Beatmix 2 and Beatmix 4 were available world wide yet 🙂

Virtual DJ currently doesn’t support any of them, but since Teminal Mix 8 was just added as natively supported in vDJ8, I guess it’s just a matter of time…

The reloop controllers are selling like hotcakes and usually software support gets better the more units are sold…

You know what is my problem? I think that with pioneer ddj sb and with reloop beatmix 2 whick works with serato intro, if you don’t upgrade it you won’t have the 100% of the functions of the controllers and i don’t wont to spent any extra money for upgrade serato or for the licence of virtual dj to get the mapping file. So if it not compatible with virtual dj or the 100% of functions with serato intro, should i look for another controller… pioneer wego let’s say?

Quite frankly, there is no solution that will let you have full functionality without getting the software. All intro/LE software is severely limited in use. Some more than others, but still.

Perhaps if you can’t afford to have both the components needed to DJ with a controller, i.e. hardware and software, you should save up a little longer.

Obviously none of the recommended software comes for free. They all have their price or their limitations (in case of the LE/intro versions). So it’s one or the other.

Imho the WeGo is something totally different from the other controllers you talked about.

Good luck with your choices and decisions.

@ OP : thats why you need to hurry up to grab the Reloop Beatmix4 while they still have the limited offering for the FULL version of Serato DJ !
