Well honestly I never found the DDJ-T1 to be a good controller at all and since the DDJ-SX is out at a lower price, it is obsolete in my eyes and the prices for used units is dropping fast…

I would rather look into Traktor controllers like the S4 or the Digital Jockey 3 ME if you want to stay with Traktor.

Thanks for that, im undecided I really liked the S4 but im not prepared to pay £699 for it when the pioneer is almost £250 cheaper! now the Digital Jockey 3 I havent really looked it but will look into it now.

I actually just got my T1 yesterday and think it’s pretty sweet. The controls and knobs are solid like the ones on my CDJ’s. However, I did get mine for $730 USD from amazon brand new. Way better deal than from Pioneer. But worth it at that point!!!

Doing the currency converting id be paying the same price, which I think is good for a pioneer 4 channel mixer brand new. Im interested to know how your finding it?

So I’ve been at it for about 3 days now and all day today so far and I love the T1 and tracktor. The sync between my mac and T1 is flawless and love the layout. Loading and updating the software was simple and done in about 15 minutes. I can’t find anything I don’t quite like.

I’ve heard some people say that it’s too big and heavy, but I disagree. I love the spacing and distance between buttons and solid feel of the unit. I have large hands and big fingers, so this unit works great because I’m not hitting knobs and buttons because they are packed together too closely. My opinion is that if a controller looks and feels like a toy…it’s just that. So if you can invest into it, I think it’s totally worth it.

    Cheers Chris

Think this is definitely the controller Im going to begin with, if it was RRP £599 I wouldnt but at £459.99 I think its a great deal and even if I didnt like it im sure I could sell it for £400 and not lose much.
