LOL … talking about comparing apples and pears!
The SZ is, without a doubt, THE flagship controller atm. The only thing that comes close to it or compares is the NS7 II. The latter only interesting if you plan on going moving platter (it’s an acquired taste 😀 ).
And at 699 USD, I think it is safe to say that the NV is in a TOTALLY different league. With the exception of the two “intelligent” displays, I am guessing the SZ has all the NV has to offer and/or more and probably better.
I’d say the SZ is an high-end, pro-level controller that appeals to people used to CDJ900/2000 and DJM900 workflow and lay-out. The NV is definitely bringing something new, but also untested. The SZ has dual soundcards, which – if I am not mistaken – allow you use it in a DVS system as well.
Perhaps if you share with us a bit more of the motivations you have in buying a controller and what makes you think about the NV, what feature(s) stand out that make you compare the NV to the SZ?
