Pioneer DDJ-SX2, XDJ-RX, Numark NV, or cdj-djm set?

Out of them all, if you’re wanting to use DJ software such as serato then the DDJ SX2 is the way to go.

But if you want an all in one solution then the XDJ RX is the way to go.

It’s basically a Nexus mini and has most of the bells and whistles of the flagship models.

I recently exchanged my old CDJ 850’s for it and have never looked back.

Have had some bad experiences with Numark in the past when I had the CD MIX 3 unit, i wouldn’t recommend them.

CDJ’s are an overpriced and outdated technology, so you’re going to get less for you’re money buying them than the likes of the XDJ RX which is the best piece of kit that Pioneer have brought in many years or the DDJ SX2.

No probs at all, out of all the pioneer products, it offers the best value for money.

I used to own the CDj 850’s along with the DJM 700, which was an ok set up, but once the XDJ RX came out, it was time for it to go.

With the RX you get hot cues which were only ever on the flagship models in the past, Slipmode, Quantize, a large number of the beat effects found on the DJM 900, and a near enough identical colour screen to the flagship CDJ 2000 Nexus.

The XDj 700’s are also a good choice but you’ll need to buy a mixer with them e.g DJM 350 which to me doesn’t offer as much features as the one on the XDJ RX so you’d need to go for the DJM 750.

The RX is the winner here in my opinon.
