    Hey Tom,

It’s been made very clear (by saying out loud) that the 4 free vids would be for a limited time only. In the last vid Phil announced that the Masterclass would go live soon and that the free vids would disappear then.

Previous “presentation” videos have been text only if I recall correctly. And especially if you HAVE seen the free vids when they were available, you already know what to expect from the full course, which – indeed – will require payment. The rest of the course will be full video again I think, only the presentation/sales video is text only.

I haven’t had a chance to check out the course yet (us mods had to stay in waiting just like you guys 😀 ), but I understand it takes you from the full beginning to master status, so I don’t think you have to take “How to Digital DJ Fast” first.

    Hope that helps.

    Greetinx.

Hey DJ Vintage want to add some more comment of how you think the Masterclass is going?

I have got a ton of stuff out of it. I’m not new to the industry more of a returning old hand. The course aims to go from complete starter to professional level. Helping along any one who has any issues from the start.

I did check out the course and I have to say even with 20+ years DJing you can still get insights and points of view that I did not think about or due to “it was working anyways” did not pursue.
So I think it is really cool for DJs of all levels. Of course a good DJ can skip through the basic mixing lessons (hopefully), but the other aspects of the course do give you loads of thinks to think about, even if you are not adopting some of them.

Hello all, was away to Switserland for a few days. Did you miss me? 😀

Yes, the course is awesome. There is not one reason someone shouldn’t take this course if he/she is halfway serious about learning the true art of DJ-ing. The interviews with both Pro and semi-pro DJ’s are very inspirational (and don’t worry, Terry and I haven’t been interviewed, so bad dreams will not be in your future). The stuff is good and at the level you can expect from DDJT and Phil Morse.

Like Terry said, no matter your experience level there is something to learn. If only seeing everything you already knew put in logical order.

I wouldn’t say it aims to go from total starter to pro level, that would be assuming that your level to enter should be at the starter level. The truth is that it doesn’t matter what level you get in, there is something for everyone. You might need some more gear info, or tips and tricks on building a brand for yourself or find out what the difference is DJ-ing another kind of gig than you usually play, or how to work iTunes (if you are using something else now), etx.

So, those of you not following the course at present, rumor has it there will be another course starting later this year. So keep your eyes open. I am sure there will be an announcement on the blog (and in your mailbox every other day for a couple of weeks beforehand 😛 ). The good news is, you can start saving now, so by the time the course opens up again, you can pounce on it immediately and get the one-shot payment bonus.

Any word on when the next master class will be? Also, can anyone tell me if these will be videos I can watch at any time? Some online courses are webcast and require to you attend when they’re presenting in real time. I have a day job to pay the bills, and for obvious reasons need the flexibility to watch/take the instruction when time is permitted based on my schedule.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Hi,

the wait will soon be over. Yes you can watch the videos whenever you like. Once you are enrolled you can also re-watch every video again at any time and continue the course at your own pace. You can also come back to any previously watched content any time and more content will be released also that will immediately be available for you.

    Cheers
    Terry
