Completely understand, you’ve done your time behind the decks (but the love doesn’t go away, does it?). What you should do is channel your DDJT experiences into making an actual track.
This would put you right in the shoes of the intended audience of DDJT, trying out something new.
I can see it now, Mike Monday could do the mix for the B side and Chuck ‘DJ Vintage’ can write the promo material, he’s never short of a word! There’d be a Beats mix for Steve C to scratch with and a remix competition using the stems (winner gets some of the no-doubt huge pile of ex-review stock lying around DDJT Towers HQ).
But what would the track be called? ‘ReMorse‘, ‘Read My Tips‘ and ‘Tipping In Sunshine‘ would be my suggestions.
Anyway, you’ve got a website to run.
