    Get gigs. That is what is going to ground you and give you structure. Play out as often as you can. The rest will fall into place if you do. If you don’t (to flip it around), there’s not a lot of point in doing ANY of the rest 🙂

    Wise words by Phil. You have to jump in the water to learn to swim.
    Most of the stuff I know came from learning in the job. Meet people, get ideas from other DJs, involve yourself.
    Even at my age, meeting new people and DJs always brings fresh things to my game.
