    Interesting. One tip would be to talk to them about the tune immediately before and immediately after each of their two halves. You could build tension, do something clever etc if you get these transitions right.

    I agree, see what kind of mood they want after the opening and set break. As for the closer, bang ’em with your big guns!

    Maybe make the opener mostly moombah since it’s lower-tempo than most other electronic music and has pretty funky percussion patterns?

    Who is it you’re opening for ? I’ve never heard of moombah, I’ll have to search around for samples . I echo what’s been said here otherwise. Good luck bro
