Haha, well I didn’t go crazy switching songs every 30 seconds, but it was pretty darn enjoyable. There were probably about 500 people there throughout the night, I played a 2 and a half hour set. I hit a bunch of different genres, starting with some prog house and working through electro house, house, hip hop, moombah, and trap. We also did a dance contest, with tickets to the Kap Slap concert this Saturday as a prize, and that was really fun (especially given my background in the St. Louis dance scene as a bboy). Once my set was over around 1, I just partied with all my friends that were there until the end of the night around 3.
Odd fun thing – the two songs that people loved the most were “I Like the Way You Move” by Outkast and “Took the Night” by Chelly.
This picture was at 10pm at the beginning of the night.
