Sure hit me up, I have quite a bit of the old Chicago/New York style house. My Facebook is “DJ Antique. The thing to keep in mind is that if the tune hasn’t been remastered digitally, you won’t get 320kbs quality.

Sorry, forgot to mention YouTube has a great deal of tunes from back in the day. If you put i a DJ’s name or song title you may come up with some great results. My fb page is dedicated to the old school house I have fallen in love with.

Guys, this is the forum for introducing yourself to your fellow forum members. Questions like this go in the DJ Booth forum.

It really isn’t rocket science, but it would sure make our moderator lives easier if you could pay attention to where you post your items.

    Thanks.

In terms of buying vinyl, I’d tell you to look at Discogs or Ebay for a start.

In terms of “what to look for”, you can ask folks like me. 🙂

Any particular tunes/styles/DJs you’ve encountered that was your “start” and thus you want “more like this”?

There are plenty of “Best of” lists on the internet for every genre and every time period.

So searching for best tech house of the 90s should yield a lot of results.
Another thing to check would be sampler CD track lists of the appropriate genre and time period.
