Old DJ coming back again

In my opinion:
Get whatever controller you like for Traktor. Of course the S4 or the 4Trak are the flagship controllers along with the VCI-400 EGE.
I have had ZERO problems so far with using my controller in flagship clubs, the only clubs that bothered my around were either “newcomers” or “clubs that think they are top” (aka managers are snobs) and I simply had my USB stick on me where I have playlists ready on them (with recordbox) put them into the CDJ and show them “I can if I want”.
You can easily transfer your skills to any CDJ, just familiarize yourself with their layout as the CDJ 2k especially can be intimidating if you learned on controllers only and you know how to beatmatch already. Everything else works almost like on a controller on the CDJ 2k even with excellent waveforms. In the end I used my controllers anyways as they saw I can use the CDJs but the controller was even better…
