Hey Kamikaze,The N4 has its own sound card, also has 2 mic inputs, which work good. The N4 does have 4 decks with Virtual DJ LE out The box.Serato intro has only 2 decks.I have had mine for 5 months now only using serato intro. Some slight issues with virtual dj le,Pro version way to go.Also look into Traktor pro 2 it is 4 decks on N4 and way cheaper then VDJ.You Tube N4 some good videos from Numark. Also Dijital Dj tips did a review of this controller also, which was helpfull.

Thanks for the reply DJ Ney. I actually have a pro liscence of traktor pro 2.5 but didnt think it would work with this controller as its more geared to Serato or VJD, but im guessing im wrong. Its ticking the box for most of the requirements. I cant really go any higher than £350 and I need mics for mobile Deejaying. The Mixtrack/ IO were great but ive reached my limit.

The other question I have is does anyone know of a bag or something for this controller. Doesnt have to be a flight case.

    Kind regards,

    I had a Mixtrack & upgraded to the N4.

Question 1 – N4 has it’s own sound card. The DJ I/O is not needed.

Question 2 – Yes you can control 4 virtual decks with the N4 alone. You can also control 2 virtual decks + 2 timecode (virtual) decks using VirtualDJ Pro.

Question 3 – Better build quality. The faders and knobs feel much better. The jog wheels are smoother. My Mixtrack jog wheels weren’t the smoothest. These are much better.

The N4 can also be used as a stand alone 2 channel mixer.

ps-I almost picked up a Reloop Terminal Mix 4 but couldn’t justify the nearly $200 price jump. My N4 cost me $415 brand new and it’s well worth it.

    Will that fit the N4?

Yes, it states that it will fit a NS6. The NS6 is only slightly larger than an N4.

Decent combo deal on ebay and a better bag. The bag alone normally goes for $125.
