    There is an autoplay feature, called cruise mode, activated by a button next to the settings button (cant remember off the top of my head what it looks like). That might have been your problem. I use cruise myself sometimes, but I don’t ever press play or cue while using it. I do know that if you move one of the volume faders while cruise is active it will automatically start to play the other track, so the same may apply to the play/cue buttons.

    Was cruise mode the problem then?
