    I can atleast answer your second question: no. This wont delete any data or reset your computer – the data in the ram gets deleted everytime you turn off your computer. All your nontemporary files are saved on your harddrive/ssd.

    Yes you can sample other sources in maschine (voice, vinyl, movies,…) whatever you can record on maschine over the inputs (check the input section of the maschine of your choice).
    Yes you can take mp3/mp4 files, load them into maschine and chop them up.
    Yes you can save your work and use it in like: Logic, FL Studio,…

    On the second question, make sure to buy the right type of memory for your system and the correct voltage. My suggestion, if you are not familiar with I.T. is to take it to a retail place that you are purchasing the memory from and have them install for $65 USD.
    Incorrect voltage and wrong type of memory can cause memory errors, slowness and in worse case, rare scenarios, can damage the memory and/or mobo (internal working component).

    Thanks for the replies and a the help! I appreciate it, and hopefully over the next few weeks I will have everything set up and working perfectly!
