    What’s a snogfest?

A major Make-out moment. All the crowd wants to do is kiss each other senseless and get laid.

I like to build up to the midnight moment, play the chimes, shout “happy new yea” then just turn the house lights up and stop the music for a couple of minutes while everyone snogs / finds their friends / downs some tequila … then BANG! All dark and dirty with a big dancefloor tune to get things going again.

Cheers , gonna find a sample of bells ala acdc hells bells for the countdown , turning off the music totally is a good idea and then BOOM down n dirty with a killer tune.

    Thanks

I just say to play auld lang syne to start and then find a couple of other tunes that build a mood.

Maybe toss in “let get it on” and push the snoggers to leave while the dancers stay.

I always do get a kick out of how many people on NYE put so much of their self-worth into if they have a date and if they get laid.
