Hi, I want to point out the following post to you:

    http://www.digitaldjtips.com/topic/forum-tips-tricks/

Especially the part about naming your post and for the Mixes, Music & Shows forum the bit about collating all your postings into one post to which you add. Keeps all your stuff together if someone wants to listen to other stuff you posted earlier and also it’s easier for a reader to subscribe to that post and get a message when you put something new in it.

I was literally just thinking that when I opened the forum now. Many thanks for your help

Though for a remix as opposed to a DJ set, I personally find it more useful to have a dedicated post with a more descriptive subject line – include the genre and whether or not it’s a free download in the subject line. I also find it very useful to have track details in the text, such as the BPM and key.

Listening to it, and it’s a bit thin for my taste, but I don’t think this is a style of music that I know enough about to be able to properly comment on. What I can say is that you did a good job of making sure the drums cut through the mix, which is very important. I like how much presence the bass has when it kicks in too.

Thanks for the comments mate yeah I will start putting more info up. Trying to get my kicks and bass working properly together. Learning more about music theory atm but understanding chord progressions is essential. Feels to myself quite one dimensional. Really appreciate your input, many thanks
