That … quite frankly … stinks. The worrisome part is that I thought the old version wasn’t anything special …

Were you using it with a controller? If yes, which one?

Hey chuck, yes it was the IDJ pro, never had any problems with the old app and was excited by the new features in the updated app,

Was a disaster, am running it on an iPad 2 with the latest firmware,

Perhaps I may need to get a newer iPad??

    Hi,

I’ve installed it and looked at it for 2 minutes while in the iDJ Pro. I have been trying out the new DJ Player mapping (now originally from them) and it looks good. Not sure how stable, I haven’t gigged with it yet (might not for a while, unless some friends party comes along, after all it is my backup-backup set ;-)).

I am hoping that MixVibes picks up on several requests to make it work with the iDJ Pro. Since I am switching to Cross on the MacBook, it would be great to have just one software (because of the beatgridding, cue points and such).

Until then I intend to use DJ Player with my iDJ Pro. Specially with the new version with parallel waveforms.

It should work with an iPad 2 (I have the “3”, which is essentially the same technically but with a retina screen I think). If you get a newer iPad, you’ll need to work with a converter to the new lighting adapter, which I don’t know is gonna fit.

Keep me posted on what you find out (assuming you dropped this like a hot potato on Algoriddim’s support doorstep).

    Greetinx,
    C.

The Djay 2 seems to be a nice step up and fun to use…. works well on my ipad mini.
I’ve two gigs coming up where I plan to just use the app…..wish me well….lol
