New DJ Gear – Speakers

You can not use studio monitor speakers as PA speakers!
Not even for 5 people. They are for near listening in studios.

Look at a pair of powered PA speakers instead.

I recommend QSC K-series but they are way out of your pricerange.

I am a pro DJ and could not get a good sleap if I recommended you anything in your pricerange.

If you are going to get Monitor Speakers dont get the Rokits just yet. Get cheaper ones like the M-Audio Studiophiles, save some cash for PA speakers, try to get some money and when you have enough, ask for help in which PA speakers to choose. After you have your own PA system, consider getting the Rokits.
