    If you look in the setup under mixer, you can set the upfader curve to your liking.

    Marco’s right, but even on the ‘smoothest’ setting ie. the one designed to give you most gradual fade, I notice the same thing: 90% of the volume comes at the top 20% of the fader. Glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed this.

    Does anyone else think this, or are my expectations wrong?

    Try putting it in the middle, that should be the most linear.
