    Ok well my question is how to map my mixtrack to vdj 6 so my crossfader works correctly. Rigth now it move right is left and left is right. The loop button don’t work right and I want to make one of the knobs on the effects side to be deck 1 and deck2 my gain button. I tried using vdj script, but I don’t know how to word it correctly for what I want to do with my mixtrack. Thank you

    Have you tried resetting to the stock mapping? That should work fine.

    Ok, with my Mixtrack, I re-mapped the pitch buttons to gain up/down. Just copy the following script into the corresponding sections:

    PITCH-
    gain -3%

    PITCH+
    gain +3%

    So the top section is what button, bottom is the script. Give that a go for both decks.

    Make sure you check out http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript – this is the page which taught me how to use it. Also if you type in what kind of command you want into the scripting section, and ususally it’ll come up with a few examples of how to use that command. Also try and copy the structure of other commands, that worked for me.

    Try ” crossfader_hamster ” – this inverts the crossfader, it might do the trick.

    Jezalenko, that page was the source of weeks of fun for me. It’s a brilliant thing to do, mapping your won keys and knobs.

    Indeed it is, however I find Trakor’s mapping a little easier, as VDJ Script can be a little frustrating at times. I find it annoying not having something working the way I like it, but the beauty of controlerism is that you can make any knob/fader/button do exactly what you want it to do!

    Also Tobbish – thanks for the like mate, you should probably check the page out now, it’s been spruced up a bit more. I might actually launch it soon too 🙂
