    Did you run the traktor hardware instaler after you opened the program it self?

    I have an s2 if its plugged in by usb it doesn’t get enough power to light the lights. Check your settings, there setting where you can change the brightness of the lights. Get a power cable if you want to have bright lights =)

    I know that i’m probs gonna buy one but it doesn’t recognize or work at all except for the start up lights and the blinking master led light i cant figure it out maybe its something with the settings when i go under konrol s4 should there be all the mappings of all the buttons because its blank i pressed restore how to i re import the mapping?

    whoops read your first post to fast mb. have you tried different usb ports? maybe go to the audio settings and make sure you have your s4 selected as the audio device?

    Theres no option to do that ill explain what happens every time again. Ok so i click on traktor press the power button on the s4 the lights flash then only the master is blinking. i went to settings and looked at audio device the only option was my laptop ASIO4ALLv2. I have it under internal mixing. under controller manager i added kontrol s4 and all the mappings are there now the inport says n/a and i cant click on out port bcuz its dimmed. so i dont know whats wrong but i tried going to setup wizard at the bottom had it plugged in but there were only 3 options maschine, audio kontrol 1 and kore 2. but for the heck of it i tried setting up my mixtrack pro and it worked but my s4 doesnt like what the hell am i doing wrong?

    What is your laptop type?
    I have seen some cheap laptops that have too few output power on USB ports to actually drive a controller. Happened to a friend and his Terminal Mix…

    Its an acer it powered my mixtrack which isvway less power but im gonna buy a power cable and see how it goes if that foesnt work idk what to do

    SOLUTION FOUND!!! i have usb 3.0 ports on my pc which you need a special driver for i downloaded it from their website now up and running.
