Well, you came to the right place! Co-moderator Terry_42 is an avid Reloop TM8/Serato user. Plays out frequently with this setup and as far as I know, trouble-free. I am sure he can put your mind at ease.

Might have to wait a day or two before you get a response though as I believe he is taking a few days off from the forum due to some other pressing matters.

So, hold tight. Help is on the way.

On a general note: If hardware works well and then starts acting up because someone changes something in the software, you can’t really blame the hardware, can you? Let’s say you’d switch to a Pioneer DDJ-SX2 and it works real well with Serato and two Serato upgrades down the line it starts having problems, what do you do? Do you buy yet another piece of hardware to work well with the software? Or do you knock on the door of the software and tell them to get their stuff in order?

Are there any other possibly contributing factors, like upgrading Mac to El Capitan or Windows to version 10 recently?

Howdy, just played the whole weekend on my TM8, no trouble at all.
However I am not yet using El Capitan (I am on Mac), however I use the latest version of Serato without any trouble.

While I haven’t had any trouble with my TM8, I have barely used it with Serato at all – just long enough to try Serato out, honestly.

I’ve been using the TM8 for about 5 months now. At first I was getting the static white noise that seemed to start out of nowhere. I had an older mac (2008 black macbook w 4gb of ram). I purchased a late 2011 15″ Macbook Pro w 16g of ram and 2.2ghz I7 processor running the latest version of yosemite. That fixed the white noise hiss. Now I’m also having the crossfader bleeding issue. Instead of trying to go through Reloops warranty I did some research and found the Mini Innofader pnp-p will fit in the controller. It costs about $95 but will fix the issue and now has a superior crossfader. Reloop stated this will void the warranty though. Hope this helps!

Hmm never had any crossfader issues, but yes it is a more simple crossfader compared to the innofader of course.
