Got my PC last week. The specs are great but the sound is horrible 🙁 I tried using Realtek High Definition Audio, Primary and ASIO4ALL v2 drivers in FL but it sounds just bad. Way worse than on my HP-laptop. When I try using my Traktor S4 soundcard it sounds okay. Here is a screenshot

Looks like I need to buy an external soundcard 🙁

Apart from an external soundcard being a pretty solid suggestion :-), what I see here looks like pretty long buffer (97ms), this should be somewhere around maybe 5-12ms … try playing around with that for a bit. If you are using Asio4All, the buffer should be between 256 and 512 normally.

I cant lower the buffer on Realtek bcs it makes “underburns”. I can lower it to ~40)

So the lower the ms the better the sound quality? Or, I am wrong?

No, depending on the power of your pc (and most nowadays are relatively powerful) you can set it between 256 and 512 (roughly translating to 6-12ms) of buffer size. Smaller will create audible distortion in various forms. And since the human ear can’t distinguish such short latency times, that is ok.

Did you check the settings in Asio4All ?
