sennheiser hd 25-ii

Good: loud + ear swivel + durability

Bad: wire bend points can drop audio in one ear

Sennheiser HD-25 ii (I think, but there are quite a few variations around)

Good: they work well for live sound, studio and DJ work. Best bang for the buck really. And everything can be replaced, cables, ear pads, everything really.

Bad: Despite the swivel on one end, not the most comfortable around the neck, so found ON my head most of the time when DJ-ing.

Audio Technica ATH-M30

Good: Very affordable, comfortable (no risk of falling off of my ears, avoids the clamp death-grip), pretty decent neutral sound.

Bad: bass could range a bit deeper, the clarity is fairly decent but it’s not worth of ranting and raving about
