just got my first controller not over a month ago, did a ton of research and have had enough experience to suggest none of the above lol. but thats my opinion. also check out the articles on this site, theres great articles on almost every new controller out there on the market.

in my breif reviews of the controllers you listed, none of them stand out as being worth over $200 for what you get.

    1. probably your best bet. i have the numark mixtrack and bought a seperate sound card for $50, so its basically the same thing but for a hundred bucks less. only benefit of the pro is the built in sound card which would serve for convenience purposes.

2 + 3 are not worth the money in my opinion

    4. pretty cool? but it would seem as though that technology is fairly new and will probably end up breaking in near future, or at the least just create headaches for you. and id also be skeptical of its abilities and ease of use with pcdj software.

if your willing to spend $300 on a controller, id reccommend investing another 2 to 3 hundred and getting a legitimate midlevel controller with alot more controls and functions. while mapping is possible on most controllers, its a headache if your not familiar with writing scripts. having those extra bells and whistles is something i wish i had invested in looking back on buying my first controller.

but if your just starting out and just want to learn the ins and outs of dj’ing before investing more money into a legitimate controller, go with mixtrack or mixtrack pro. its got the best reviews everywhere you look, including a five star rating by phil himself. and if you put in a little work mapping it, it can pretty much do everything the more expensive controllers can do as well.

    +1 to that.

I recommend 1 or 4. but if you can spend the extra money the Denon MC3000 has more to give and has better quality.
