    Hey Guys , Thank you very much , i hope one day i’ll be able to help you guys as well.

    Here’s my problem : i bought a pioneer controller ddj-sr , a macbook and a headphone of sony and when i installed the serato on my macbook and i connect the controller on it there’s no sound going out , what’s wrong? do i need a sound card? speakers? what kind of speakers?

    Yep, speakers to hook up to the master output of your DDJ-SR. Anything from a low-end solution like M-Audio AV40s to a bit higher-end but still reasonably affordable studio monitors like the KRK R6 or a set of PA speakers (anything from a set of good 10″s to a full-size 15″ setup. My advice would be to make sure to get active speakers (i.e. amplifiers built-in).

    It’s worth considering used sometimes. But always trust your ears and listen before you buy (true for both new and used) if possible.

    Dj Vintage , thank you one more time for this huge help , i was almost getting insane cause i couldn’t find the problem , i couldn’t understand why the sound was not getting out of the controller , so thank you for your attention =D!!
