I have not been booked for any festivals yet 2013… but I have been really lazy in networking with promoters the last 2 years, that I did not expect anything big. I enjoy doing more the local smaller things at the moment or some fun invitations from friends around Europe in cool clubs.

Cool idea for a thread, maybe even an opportunity to personally get to know someone from the community!

I already got my Ticket for SONAR in Barcelona, can’t wait! Great city, sun, beaches and the biggest EDM festival in Europe!

Maybe I’ll also go to one of the popular German ones like “Sonne Mond Sterne”, but that’s still undecided.

    Anyone else for Sonar 2013?

Shambala, EDC Las Vegas, are my 2 goto Music Festivals this year :D.

IMO events like Shambala are true music festivals where events like Ultra, EDC, Electric Zoo, Sensation White ETC. are not really music Festivals…just 3 day long concerts.

Events like Shambala celebrate the spirit of the music and the energy and vibe…where as all those others are just really celebrating the DJ.

Hmm Sonar might actually be worth attending, even if they do not book me 😛

In terms of going to a festival: Glastonbury 2013, ’nuff said, nothing compares close 🙂 Can’t wait.

DJing wise, hopefully playing at a festival I played at this year next Summer and poss some other minifest gigs as well.

Glastonbury would be the one for me. I went 2 years ago and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

My profile pic was taken there whilst dancing for 2 hours to a DJ that we randomly (everything at Glasto is random) came across. This showed the true power of the DJ as every song was brilliant and we just couldn’t leave.

    Have a good un.

Hoping to blag a ticket for Tomorrow Land but the chances will be very slim!

If not, Hideout is definitely on my list and it would be nice to visit Croatia in general.

Heh heh, I know exactly what you mean! 🙂 I went last year and despite the weather it was superb. There is so much more than is advertised as you say, I reckon it’s only possible to take in about 10-20% of what Glastonbury has to offer. Weirdly despite only living approx. 15 mins away, last year was my first time to Glastonbury – it also helps getting there and back again knowing the back roads to miss some of the queues. 😉

Looking like another trip to Creamfields for me. Was phenomenal last summer even if it did get called off on the last day.

Would love to go places like Shambala, looks like an absolutely amazing place to go.

I live in Australia and we currently have our biggest EDM festival Stereosonic touring currently. I went last week to my citys show and it was amazing, I saw Bingo Players, Tommy Trash, Avicii, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Example, Krewella, Zedd, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Datsik, Major Lazer, Excision and Bassnecter. It was Amazing and I’m Looking forward to Next years festivals. Not next year, but in a few years I plan to attend Tomorrowland, Ultra, Coachella and Lollapolloza.

    +1 except that’s a list of artists I avoided.

Beyer, Gesaffelstein, French Fries, Brodinski, Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz and Destructo ftw.

They are still great artists! Just not really my style, I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did 🙂
