    I have almost the same Ikea stuff.
    I put 2 short shelf bottoms on the small feet, then an isolating foam on top and then my monitors.
    This way they can move around on the table nicely. They are heavy enough so they do not get easily swept of the table.

    Terry, about the small feet. I got the idea from a blog elsewhere. I dont see how the legs are attached to the table and the little shelf. They are legs and as such have drill holes one side, and just …….leg on the other. Is there something else you’re using? Or do I just need to drill holes in the small lip on the foot end?

    No I did not do anything to the flat bottom. I just put some fleece over it so it does not scratch on the table when I move the stands around.
