Kudos for the boys and girls at MixVibes for the way they implemented the RekordBox sync feature.
When you first click on the rekordbox sync button, it brings up a new window. On the left side 4 easy points to follow to set things up. Buttons for downloading the latest version of RekordBox and copying the XML path (that you need to paste into the bridge location info in RB) are provided. On the right side is the Use information. Also four very simple steps.
Love it.
If you have everything in Cross and are about to head for the club, do the sync (only seconds), open RB, click the Bridge tab and then Cross and presto, all your track info, cues, etx as well as play and smartlists.
Only thing I’d like to know if it is a two-way sync. If I add a nice loop or cue while playing out on CDJs, does it synce those the other way. Maybe try that out this weekend.
