You can try a test version of Mixvibes Cross for two weeks I think with no limitations. After that at 49 euro/dollar it’s the cheapest full version DJ software (that I consider on par with Serato/VDJ/Traktor) around.

Alright, I finally broke down and bought the monthly subscription to virtual dj but within the softeare i cant seem to cue up a track only in headphones…please help…I searched the forum and could not find a solution to my specific problem. I’m using a mixtrack3…..I just cant seem to cue up a song.Everything seems to keep going thru the main mix, i just cant listen to any track to preview in my cans. At first I thought it was because I had the wrong sound configuration, but no I have tried every single way….I have a behringer uca222 sound card that im using as well as the internal card on my lappy. I have tried selecting 2 sound cards, as well as a single card split in mono…and i cant get the cue only in my headphones, i tried adjusting the cues on my controller ….. dang man after 3 hours of dealing with im so frustrated….please can anyone help me!

You have to “aggregate” both your soundcards so they are seen as one in VDJ. Theoretically you should be able to do that with asio4all drivers.

Had you gotten the pro with built in sound card you would not have had to deal with this.

As for Mixvibes, the demo version doesn’t support controllers, you need the trial version. Go to their forum to check on MT3 mappings.

VDJ will effectively aggreagte your soundcards for you – no need for ASIO4ALL..

You can send any audio to any audio device on your PC using the audio settings..

Read this thread for setup instructions – just change the UFO202 into your internal soundcard..

Ah, thanks Bob. It’s the software I know least about. Didn’t know they do their own aggregate. Another lesson learned.

Jim, that doesn’t sound correct. Are you sure you installed the correct version? I believe the Mixtrack 3 comes with LE.

When I registered my copy of vdj it just went to that le but my le had a 10 minutes annoyance, so i ended up paying for a monthly subscription for 9.99 instead of buying it outright, i just really wish i could use this version of my mixtrack with serato

Hi Jim — That’s what got my attention. The LE version should not have a 10 minute limit. You should open a support ticket with Atomix and try to get the issue fixed and a refund for the monthly subscription (which is $19.99, not $9.99, and will add up quickly).

Just to be sure, when you downloaded the software (I’m assuming you got a code and not a disc), this is the page you went to?

Yea it is. I went ahead and purchased the monthly subscription along with content unlimited.
