Yep, plenty good enough. It might not be 24-bit/96KHz from the best manufacturers but it most decidedly CD-quality or beyond. And that is perfectly fine for most venues and house parties.

I’ve used it live and the audio output wasn’t as perfect as the controller itself. It just wasn’t loud enough.

I can’t be too sure about it, and the fault may also have lied with the PA system but, I just wasn’t able to get a loud enough signal from it.

Would love to hear a solution for this..

I doubt the MTP has a lesser soundcard then the iDJ Pro that I have. And for that I really need to dial down the master volume in the software or it is just way, Way, WAY too loud.

In the combination Cross/DDJ-SX that I use, I have to set the volume first in Cross software and that then becomes the maximum volume that my controller master volume can set.

So, if your controller seems to be less loud than you expect, always check if your software master volume has some room left to be increased.

I have the Mixtrack Quad (which is essentially the same but with 4 channel instead of 2). The sound card is plenty enough like Vintage said, to power through a party or a small venue, I enjoy it a lot!
