I’m sure it’ll do the job. Just might miss out on new bells/whistles found in the more recent versions.

In addition to D-Jam’s comment, I want to point out that the MT Pro is a starter controller. If you are a starter, it will serve you right for the time it takes to get yourself out of starter mode. Which is when you master all that you can master on the MT Pro and start to find that you are lacking certain features to move forward with your skills and creativity. At that time it is wise to start thinking about a gear upgrade.

If you are NOT a starter, then I would not get a MT Pro, regardless of it’s rendition.

In that case, get one, use the money you save by not buying a fancy, new, expensive model to buy the How To Digital DJ Fast course from the main website and get to practicing.

The MT Pro (do get the pro, not the regular one because it has no sound card in it!) will do you fine for all the practice sessions and even your first house and b’day, garden and BBQ parties.

By the time you outgrow it, you will know so much more about what you need/want it will be far easier to pick your next controller.
