LOL, I went to bed way too late last night and didn’t sleep enough, so no deep insights from me at this time.

I will however say that the occasional train wreck while consciously trying to improve yourself is totally acceptable to me.

Just stand there with a big on your face, raise your hands in an “oops, what just happened” gesture and move on :D.

Loops, loops and more loops. If something in the loop doesn’t sound good then you have to be on the fader/eq/fx to make it sound right. Another option is to bash away at your hotcues, but doing that wrong makes your mix sound like a pair of trainers in a tumble dryer. Sometimes just hitting play is all you can do.

But also what Chuck said. Making mistakes is perfectly acceptable and the dance floor rarely cares. At least it proves you’re not copying big name DJ and are playing live instead 😉

Most of the DJ’s now offered their own homemade intro, and labeled them (sometimes) DJ Bla BLa Extended Mix/Cut, so if your songs is like Radio Edit, try to look for the Extended tag
Or you could try to one of those web site that offer services like the extended play tunes, try to search for the “12 inch” services,
Lastly, you can always add your own intro and outro using the elements from the song it self, edit it yourself using any editing software
