Great mixes from everyone yesterday, it was great to hear you guys in action. I’m not sure if the technocal faults were to do with the site as it seems they were having some issues yesterday. None of the recording got posted and some people were unable to set up events yesterday. I’m certainly up for making this a regular event and hopefully the B2B family will grow.

Anyone who has the Mixify login can use the same details for Google+ and FaceBook. Any Facebook Gurus can help sort the page as FB has never been my thing. : )

I think the issue came from the website, as a simple refresh of the page seemed to sort the problem

Yeah, same goes. Refresh sorted it out, but the Mixify team are looking into it.

I’ve been talking to the product manager of Mixify today, and they loved what we did yesterday. Hopefully we can get some kind of feature in the coming weeks. I’m in quite formal talks with him right now, so hopefully the Mixify team will be working with us closely in the future.

Just like to point out though, great sets from everyone yesterday, went amazing. Would have liked my set to have gone tech difficultly free, but thats all part of being a DJ. 100% up for next week!

I listened to 2 of the sets and enjoyed it thoroughly. Looking forward to having some input at the next event

Members of the B2B community. I have some news for everyone. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been talking to Mike Vosters, he’s the production manager at Mixify. He liked what we did yesterday and pitched me an idea, I’ll quote what he said.

You’ll notice in the venue sidebar and on the marquee, there’s “Presented by ____”. If B2B has its own account on Mixify, we can actually set it to be displayed in those places for your events. So you would set up the event, and then we’d have to manually change the sponsor to B2B. We limit this functionality to partners at the moment since its not automated, but give me a heads up the next time you’re doing a series and I’ll work to get it done for y’all next time

Basically, this means on the “B2B Sundays” we can all DJ on our own accounts and still be under the ‘B2B’ brand if you would. This would be a great way to get our own Mixify pages off the ground while still making the B2B name known. Let me know if this is an idea you’d be interested in, so I can relay it back to him and he can set it up.

Also, any ideas you guys have for the site, hit me up and I’ll let him know too, they really do appreciate all feedback they get and try to fit the site around everyone’s liking.

I’m up for it this Sunday. Unless we all gonna join and cheer for Si Boogie on his birthday marathon. 🙂
My biggest issue with mixify is simply the missing of metadata presentation.
I’ve noticed that something wasnt 100% with the site. First my disconnect in beginning of my set and after the finish it didnt want to let me publish the mix.

I’ve posted a comment on the Mixify FB page about the recordings not posting. Remember thisis still beta. Good new for Traktor uses is they’re intergrating Icecast so the tracklisting will be submitted automatically. If you’re a Traktor user go to their FB page and register for testing.
I’ll be setting up a slot for this Sunday sometime today too.

Guy’s I think it might be best if we now use the FB page for posting our comments etc

The logon is the same as Mixify so you’ll all have admin rights. Fell free to upload although the page may need re-creating so people can join. I’m useless when it comes to FB

Yeah there is a few bugs right now. But they are only in the beta phase and are constantly fixing issues, hopefully in a few month when they roll out the finished product it will be fantastic

So we gonna go after this or still post as last week?

I’m good with that. So I it take we use our own login with the B2B banner for the event. I’ve already started using the new design btw

Sounds like a good idea, will definitely help to promote our own work
