    I am guessing you mean a small PA mixer to put in front of your mobile PA and hook up the controller and possibly backup and mics.
    I would look into the entry mixers from Peavey and Mackie. Like the Mackie 402 or Peavey PV6, both well below your budget and do a great job.
    Some DJs also swear by the Yamaha MG06, but I have no personal experience with it.

    Thats right Terry backup I pad, Mic etc I’ve got Mackie speakers so will give the 402 a try. Cheers

    The Yamaha MG-series are excellent mixers, especially at the price. Good mic preamps, highly portable. The 8-16-24 channel versions are the go-to mixer for many live sound engineers that need to travel light for smal(ler) gigs.

    I have an MG166CX USB (previous series) for a long time and it works like a charm. The new series (G3) has some nice improvements.

    The Mackies are good and solid too, as is the A&H ZED series
