    Sound card in either is fine.

    You’ll want Traktor Pro so factor that into your decision.

    I use the Xponent. Sound card is fine in my book. Torq is my weapon of choice.

    If Traktor is what you’re leaning on then go with the Mixage…if you like Torq then look around for a brand new Xponent on eBay. You’ll find a good deal and then you can get the 2.0 update free.

    would i be able to use a traktor x1 with the mixage or would i need a separate sound card?

    You don’t need an extra sound card.
