    I’d add more memory (4GB should so but 8GB is better) and you should get one with an SSD.

    Other than that it should be fine. It does depend a bit on your workflow. FX, keylock, 4-decks, Stems all contribute to the CPU workload. If you use all of that intensively, the CPU will be busier and higher clockspeed might help.

    I use an old (2011) MB pro 15 with an i5, 4GB and a DIY SSD upgrade witm my DDJ-SX and Mixvibes Cross and never have any issues.

    Indeed an i5 with 1.8 GHz will run Traktor fine.
    My current MacBook has an i7 with 2.6 GHz and CPU never goes past 20% running Traktor (or Serato for that matter).
