    I use the Alesis Q49, it only cost me around £80 and it has done the job just as good as my previous keyboards that were alot more expensive.

I don’t know much about em, just about the only brand I’m familiar with is Korg. Ideally I’d like something with a few bells and whistles, some customizable buttons and knobs for changing lfo rates, filters, and what not on the fly. Any suggestions?

    I don’t know what DAW you use; but I bought an M-Audio Oxygen 49; it has 26 Assignable Knobs/Sliders/Buttons; I bought it from Dolphin Music and it cost around 99 English Pounds

    you lost me at DAW 😳 haha (googles it) ahhh… I use ableton and reason 5. That oxygens not bad.. Although I’m not sure if I want one that big. I’m more inclined to a medium sized one. 32 keys is all I think I’ll need, but ya never know..

    Just pokin around the internet today I came across an edirol pcr 30, looked nice. But the only one on amazon is 200 used :eek:… I can’t find much on it either. So the search continues. A point to a good review site/ buyers guide/ midi forum, something like that, would be helpful.:)

    Hello John 🙂
    Many Apologies for Confusing You;
    But I use Ableton 8 Suite and Reason 5; which is Quite Cool that we use the Same Audio Workstations 🙂
    I Understand about the amount of Keys; as where I DJ (from my Bed); 49 Keys are Too Many for me;
    Edirol are Quite Expensive; but Good Luck on your Continuing Search 🙂

    I personally use an M-Audio Axiom 49 for Ableton Live and Traktor 2, and it’s a pretty darn good MIDI keyboard. If you can’t shell out the $200+ USD for it, you could go for it’s little brother, the Axiom 25 for a little bit less.

    If you aren’t wanting to drop the cash on a Axiom 49 I’d go with the Oxygen 49, if you don’t want that many keys, go with the Axiom 25.
