I was super excited when I saw this too and then just realized it doesn’t fit my playstyle as I don’t have time to hold it up in the air for the crowd and spin it around…
On a serious note, I still may consider one as I like the multicolor leds and the addition of the Bank buttons up top is pretty sweet. I would never use the GYRO though…
Oh, yeah, some buttons glued ontop of an iphone, and now we have a midi-controller which can control…things with its gyro-sensors?
Sorry, I am open to almost all technical gadgets but THIS is writte nonsense with capital letters in my book.
I think it has way more potential for a live show then a DJ set, a mate of mine was practically wetting his pants when I showed him the link, would bring a whole new element to the live ableton set (not using ableton to dj) and would allow you to move from behind the computer
I like the idea of new gear, new technology, and what not. But seriously? This shake/move around thing is plain stupid, why shake a controller around to get the function of a simple knob turn? MidiFighter besides that is a great device.
Well, I have to agree that the gyro feels a bit silly.
I’m sure there is a time and place for it to use but it’s nothing for me.
That doesnt mean it’s a junk….but for me it’s just simply a nice technical gadget nothing more.

its like the usb cord to my novation dicers. i don’t know why it has to bend at a 90 degree angle. there’s nothing else taht has to plug into it like the daisy chain cable for my dicers.
