Depending on the quality of your built in soundcard, you prolly will need an external one.
At least on a Mac you can use the Jockey as a soundcard, never tried it on a PC.

    Here is a good tutorial:

Hi Terry thanks for the info..

As im strapped for cash at the mo i was wondering if i could use my RELOOP JOCKEY 3, but then the Mikro only has a USB connection so how would i connect it to my reloop? Wouldnt i need an external interface to do that? My laptop PC soundcard is pretty standard so im pretty sure the sound wont be that good.

You do not need to connect the Jockey to Maschine, you simply connect both via USB to your laptop.

You dont need to route anyting in Traktor. When you open the audio preferences in Maschine, you just select what source you want to use as your sound card (Reloop) and it should automatically assign the ins/outs if not you just select what you need.

Like he said. Watch the video and you should know what to do.
