I have them both! planning on getting f1 thursday…..there are different ways to go about it when you say “pairing” you can set up traktor as the master clock and maschine as the slave so anytime you anhe the bpm in traktor it will automatically change in maschine (dj endo has a video on this on you tube)

you can simply just have both programs open and drag samples from maschine right into a remix slot (matt celetti from dubspot has a videop on this)

you can have it set up so that maschine mikro is routed throuh one of your decks as live input (check out traktor bible or some artices on line)

Or it has a midi function where you can use it as a midi controller to control your deck parameters pending on your mapping (dj endo apperently has a pretty good one). I personally don’t this as I think the real power in maschine lies in its production and groove sequencing capabilities.

You should really decide what your using the mikro for though….intended for production or do you want just want to had some spice to your sets…if thats the case maybe investing in the f1 would be a better option. Really depends what you want to do.

    Oh! Interesting!!

Hi Michael, I own an S2 and F1 and thinking go getting the Mikro. My goal is to create beats, loops and such on the Mikro and export it on the Remix Decks for the F1 to control it.
