    Hi nietzsky,

    for your preferred genre i would either go for drop squad or electric vice – These are the heavy sounds you may be looking for 😉

    i myself like dark pressure / raw voltage the most – dark/analog/experimental – you should consider one of them too to add some spice to your productions 🙂

    I finally got my Massive download email. Oh my god…….. I think I’m going to be creating melodies for the next 30 hours straight.

    checked out youtube videos to electric vice, liked the drum samples but wasn’t too impressed by the lead/bass synths. Drop squad, on the other hand, has me drooling; seems like it has much more application than just dub step. Still have to look into raw voltage, but I might hold off for a little since massive seems like it has so much potential for custom instruments as is.

    I agree with you – Drop Squad is indeed more versatile than electric vice. Have you had a look at dark pressure? 😉

    Have fun playing with massive & happy melodymaking! Spend your nights turning knobs and changing parameters -Terry_42 is right, it will be more than 30hours 😉
    I was totally overwhelmed with all the knobs/macros/routing options – but i’m very happy i have it, more so because it was free 🙂

    Damn, I’ve been on the computer for 17 hours toying with maschine/massive/logic and the time just seemed to fly by…….. with the level of synth customization in Massive, I don’t think I’ll need an expansion for months honest. Not to mention, I’m still trying to sort through all of the massive presets (haven’t even touched Reaktor yet).

    I think I might have to toy with Tribute to Ivor/Aggressor for my first production. Any other suggestions for epic sounding massive presets?

    Drop Squad if your into dubstep/drum in bass dark atmospheric sounds lol
