Mackie Freeplay battery PA speaker

I have seen a price point of 399, which I think (assuming the normal Mackie sound and build quality) will make this an interesting little unit. Portable sound at any location without breaking the bank. The control app on your iPhone means no fiddling around the back of the unit, which is neat.

I do doubt the 300W claim on batteries. At the end of the day there is only so much power in a battery. 300W load would drain them pretty quickly, but we’ll have to wait for a full review.
