    Yes, I’ve always done that, I try and make clever lyrical overlaps etc if I can. I also consider how often I drop lyrics compared to instrumental tracks quite carefully. I’ve always liked dropping lyrics into house sets where they’re least expected.

    Right on Phil. I use unexpected vocals as well. I have a pretty good collection of hard to find 12″‘s that I use. Like the entire Martin Luther King Jr – original live ‘I have a dream’ speech (got it for a dollar ) . The soundtrack to ‘Gandhi’, that has the funeral procession original speech. “Albert Einstein added, generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth.”. etc.
